The class is suitable for participants who have experience with quilt making, and also for those who have or want to participate in quilt competitions, to better understand the process of quilt judging.

Class Description

This workshop will introduce you to the process of quilt judging, and give you an opportunity to try it for yourself. You will get a brief theoretical introduction to the process of quilt judging and what it involves. You will judge several quilts and you will work in small teams to choose your “winners”. At the end, you will have a better understanding of what judges are looking for when judging quilts.

  • A pair of white gloves
  • Tape measure
  • Paper for notetaking
